S.S.N. College of Engineering is situated in Chennai and is one amongst the colleges which provide biotechnology courses in India. The college holds entrance tests for the biotechnology courses along with the other courses.
Eligibility Criteria:
A basic requirement for the candidates is to be citizens of India. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination. Candidates need to score a minimum of 65%. The aspirant’s age range should be from a minimum of 17 years to a maximum of 22 years as on 31st of December of the previous year of the year in which the candidate is appearing for the entrance examination.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates need to appear for a written entrance examination for the course. If the candidate is selected in the entrance examination then he or she needs to go through group discussions and then an interview, only then candidates will be selected for the course. It is a long and serial process. There are reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates and on the basis of merit.
