Description:
Students aspiring for PGPCM i.e. Post Graduate Program in Communications Management can opt for Mudra Institute of Communications situated in Ahmadabad. It is an autonomous institution and is reputed for providing quality education since its inception in 1991. The institute provides a two years course which trains the students in existing, consistent and effective communications and management skills. The Institute conducts an admission test called MICAT for students aiming for this course.
Eligibility Criteria:
• The candidates should have finished their bachelor’s course in either 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system from an AICTE affiliated University.
• In the Bachelor’s degree, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% as an aggregate.
• Final year graduation students are also eligible to appear in the admission test only if they satisfy rest of the conditions.
Selection Procedure:
1. Firstly the candidates will be short listed on their score obtained in CAT and GMAT. Candidates with more than 90 percentile in CAT and those with sectional cutoff of more than 50 percentile in DI & QT will be shortlisted by the institute.
2. The short listed candidates will then be required to sit for the admission test conducted by the institute.
3. The candidates clearing the admission test will be called for the Group Exercise and Interview at the MICA campus in Ahmadabad.
4. The decisive result will be declared after the collection of the cumulative performance in different sections.
Important Dates:
• Application form’s sale begins on 1st Oct, 2008.
• The last date for the receipt of completely filled forms is 20th Jan, 2009.
• Exam commences in Feb-Mar, 2009.
• Group Discussion/Personal Interview will also be held in Feb-Mar, 2009
• Result will be declared in Apr, 2009.
• The session is expected to start in the beginning of July, 2009.
