NISER to conduct NEST, 2009 on May 10 |

Bhubaneswar : The National Institute of Science Education & Research (NISER) will conduct the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), 2009 on May 10, 2009.
Students securing at least 60% (For Scheduled Cast (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum requirement is 55%) marks in aggregate in Class XII or equivalent examination from any recognized Board in India are eligible to apply for the test. |
Students who have passed the Class XII qualifying examination in 2007 or 2008 or are appearing in 2009 are also eligible to apply. |

Aspiring students can download the application form for NEST examination on NEST website
www.niser.ac.in/
NEST.
The application form can also be obtained by sending a demand draft of Rs.500/-(for general category and OBC male candidates) or 250/- (for SC/ST/PD candidates and female candidates) in favour of The Chief Coordinator, NEST-2009, National Institute of Science Education and Research, Institute of Physics Campus, Bhubaneswar - 751 005 by March 28, 2009.
The last date of submission of application form for NEST, 2009 is April 3, 2009.
