The Agnel Technical Complex was established in 1984 at Vashi, in Navi Mumbai, just 30 Km north of Mumbai. The main aim was to provide quality technical education in addition to inculcating proper values and sound character to its students.
Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology has been an integral part of the complex since 1994. The institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai and is reputed for its academic excellence. This is reflected in its outstanding results, increasing demand by the industry and the fact that it has been awarded ‘A’ grade by the Govt. of Maharashtra.
The institute has received accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Delhi for 3 years (2006-07,07- 08,08-09) for Computer Engg., Mechanical Engg., Electrical Engg. and Electronics and Telecommunication Engg. departments
The institute follows the semester pattern and offers four-year courses leading to a Bachelor's degree in the following disciplines:
